Congratulations to the MPE CDT student, Joe Wallwork, who was awarded runner-up poster prize at the SIAM UKIE Annual Meeting 2018

The 2018 Annual Meeting of the SIAM UKIE Section took place on Thursday, 11th of January 2018 at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton. The meeting featured five invited speakers, covering a broad range of industrial and applied mathematics, and a poster session. The MPE CDT student Joe Wallwork and  aligned student Maha Kaouri, they each presented  a poster during that meeting. Congratulations to Joe Wallwork who was awarded runner up prize for presenting a poster on “Multi-scale numerical simulation of a tsunami using mesh adaptive methods”.
