The Mathematics for Planet Earth Centre for Doctoral Training will be hosting a Sandpit meeting on Wednesday 19 October 2016 at Imperial College for potential PhD and MRes supervisors, industrial partners and CDT students. There will be short talks from potential supervisors and industrial partners about research interests and then there will be break-out groups where supervisory teams can be created and links can be made with students.
Please email Anna Radomska Botelho Moniz at a.radomska@imperial.ac.uk if you are interested in attending. Before the meeting you will be required to write ~100 words about your research interests in areas in which you would like to supervise projects. You may also be asked to give a short talk (~2 minutes).
