Date: Thursday, 7 July 2016 from 18:00 to 21:00 (BST)
Location: Imperial College – London, SW7 2AZ
Climate change is a problem – but what next? Come join in a conversation with other people who care about tackling it, exploring the questions it brings up: “what’s the fundamental problem?”, “what would a solution need to include?” and “what should we individually be doing?”. We’ll be aiming to work together to build a coherent picture of the complex global problem, drawing on our own knowledge and framing questions for outside experts to help fill in the gaps. We’ll also be building a network of people with a common purpose but different backgrounds and perspectives – we need to collaborate, first on our understanding and then on our actions, to have an impact.
Food and hosting help has been provided by the Mathematics of Planet Earth CDT. This is the first (!) chat in a series, so if you can’t come, join the Acting Best on Climate Change group to hear about the next.
Tickets for this event are free but limited so register online now to avoid missing out.
