SIAM National Student Chapter Prize awarded to Cathie Wells

Congratulations to MPE CDT Student Cathie Wells, who was awarded the SIAM National Student Chapter Prize for the best talk given at the meeting held in Oxford in June 2021. The subject of Cathie’s talk was “Optimal control for trajectory planning, minimizing fuel burn and CO2 emissions for fixed duration aircraft flights through complex wind fields“.
