The Mayor of London wants London to be the world’s greenest global city, this will mean making it greener, cleaner and ready for the future. On 11 August Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, published his draft London Environment Strategy. The Mayor is taking a range of actions to improve the environment now, setting London on the path to create a better future.
This half-day event will bring together the Greater London Authority (GLA), key academics from Imperial College’s Mathematics of Planet Earth CDT, and Industry experts to explore new ways of collaboration in the areas of Air Quality, Low Carbon Technologies, and Flooding.
By attending this event you will:
• Understand the Mayor’s vision, plans and challenges for London’s Environment.
• Hear from Industry Experts who are using environmental data from cities to develop innovative products and services.
• Engage in interactive solution workshops with leading academics, GLA, and industry experts to create new partnerships and discuss future collaborations.
Join us as we uncover the challenges, develop solutions, and build the future for UK’s Green Cities.
